A large part of this new Primary Care Centre was a refurbishment of an existing building and providing the required U Values for the main structure was high on the priority list for the design Team.
To combine this requirement with an asetically pleasing and functional render finish that easily interfaced with old stone and modern Rainscreen cladding brought the Fermoy centre and Alsecco together.
Our Basic 1 system using an EPS insulation was able to tackle the varying depths of the original struture providing a uniform thermal value and produce a clean, modern and attractive hard working external surface to this building in Fermoy.
